Becoming A Broker
We enforce the following in order to ensure that we do not do business with brokers that do not fully endorse and comply with our fair lending policies.
1. All brokers must complete our application process.

2. Upon receipt of completed application, the information is forwarded to an independent third party for an initial background check. The following information is reviewed and verified:
A. Minimum credit score
B. Lack of fraudulent activity: Suits, Liens and Judgements
C. Phone number and address
D. Status of the broker license and any disciplinary actions taken by the applicable state licensing authorities.
E. Social Security Number
F. References

3. We complete an annual background check to confirm: That the broker remains properly licensed in all states where the broker conducts business.
A. That the broker is still in good standings with the applicable state licensing authorities.
B. That there has been no fraudulent activity reported.
C. That there have not been any unresolved complaints filed by customers against the broker.
We will immediately discontinue conducting business with any broker who fails to comply fully with all American Mortgage Exchange requirements/guidelines.
